AI Instructor – STEM & AWS Workforce Accelerator

About the Program

Aieon LLC is launching an AI & AWS Workforce Accelerator Program to prepare STEM students( High School and Early College students )for careers in Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing.

This beginner-friendly program covers:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) fundamentals & real-world applications

  • Machine Learning (ML) model development & evaluation

  • Agentic AI Systems (reasoning, tool use, multi-step workflows)

  • Python programming foundations for AI

  • Cloud computing using Amazon Web Services

  • Certification pathway aligned with AWS Certified AI Practitioner

Students’ progress from Python basics → ML modeling → Generative AI → Agentic AI workflows on AWS → Capstone deployment → Certification readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging in-person instruction (10–15 students)

  • Teach AI, ML, Python, and Agentic AI concepts in a beginner-friendly manner

  • Guide hands-on AWS labs and cloud-based exercises

  • Conduct structured AWS AI Practitioner domain reviews

  • Prepare students for certification readiness

  • Lead and mentor student capstone group projects, including:

    • Defining real-world AI use cases

    • Structuring milestones and deliverables

    • Guiding architecture and model selection

    • Supporting AWS implementation

    • Reviewing code, demos, and documentation

    • Coaching final presentations

  • Collaborate with content developers to refine slides, labs, and exercises

  • Ensure technical accuracy and industry relevance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of experience in AI, ML, cloud computing, or data engineering

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Linux systems

    • Docker / Kubernetes

    • AWS cloud services

    • Basic networking & cloud architecture

  • Experience delivering technical training or mentoring teams

  • Strong communication skills

  • Maryland-based (in-person instruction required)

Preferred

  • AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, AI Practitioner, Solutions Architect)

  • Experience deploying AI/ML models in cloud environments

  • Experience teaching high school or early college students

  • Familiarity with generative AI & prompt engineering
